A drinking glass isn’t the same shape all the way down. A wide bowl narrows to a thin stem, then widens again at the foot, and a compartment cut as one uniform square cell only really fits the widest point, leaving the thin middle to move around inside it.
Where a glass actually cracks
The stem or the rim, not the glass generally, is where a crack starts, since that’s the thinnest cross-section carrying the same knocks as the rest of the glass. A divider built around the glass’s own outline gives that narrow point something to rest against instead of a gap it can flex or knock across. Cutting the compartment to the actual profile, wide at the bowl and foot, tighter at the stem, is what makes the support real rather than approximate.
Different from what a sealed bottle needs
A sealed bottle is a uniform cylinder, so its own dividers exist to stop it touching its neighbour. A drinking glass is a single, irregularly shaped item, so its divider exists to support the glass’s own shape rather than to separate it from something else. Branding the box itself is a separate specification, chosen for the artwork rather than for the glassware inside. Raised foil, a debossed panel and a spot-treated highlight can each be built into that specification. Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method.

Our experience with ACP UK was overall good. They were able to work with our extremely tight timeline and were very responsive and communicative. I will say that there were some things about our final product that we were not happy with, such as creasing of the graphics and images were not full bleed on the cover of our boxes like they were supposed to be. ACP UK was not able to fix the problems on the boxes due to our tight timeline, so we ended up with a product that were were a little less than satisfied with. They offered us a discount on our next order. I think their pricing overall was fair and competitive. They made the adjustment and got the final order out and so far I am pleased with the quality, especially for the price. What is the minimum order for Cardboard Boxes With Dividers For Glasses?

We're packing a mixed set, not identical glasses. Does that change anything?
The usual mistake is treating the tallest glass in the box as the template for every cavity, which leaves the shorter ones rattling loose inside their own space. A mixed set is really several single-glass specifications sharing one tray, not one shape scaled up across it. A photo or a quick sketch showing each glass in the set is normally faster than describing every measurement in writing.
Does a tumbler need the same divider shape as a stemmed glass?
No, and it's worth flagging early rather than assuming one shape fits both. A tumbler is a simpler, more uniform outline than a stemmed glass, so its compartment doesn't need the same narrow support at the middle.
Are these boxes recyclable?
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.
