A flag isn’t like most sticker designs. It’s a fixed, known pattern, and its whole identity rests on getting that pattern’s colours exactly right.
Why colour is the real specification question on a flag design
An illustrated character or a pattern design can fade a little over time and still read as the same picture. A flag doesn’t have that room. The Cornish flag’s entire identity comes down to a specific black field and a specific white cross. Print colour has to be accurate from the first run. The vinyl and print method chosen then have to hold that contrast against sun and weather, so it doesn’t drift towards grey over the years. Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method. A fixed fade-resistance figure isn’t published, since the actual outcome varies with the vinyl grade chosen and the exact spot on the car the sticker ends up in.
A rectangular flag shape also means the die-cut-versus-kiss-cut decision that matters for an irregular illustrated decal barely applies here. The sticker is cut to the flag’s own straightforward rectangle, so the real specification choices are the vinyl, the finish and, where wanted, a small line of personalised text set alongside the flag rather than over it.
Adhesive and finish
A removable, no-residue adhesive suits a sticker likely to come off when a car is sold or the design is updated, and is available alongside a permanent exterior-grade adhesive where that’s the better fit. Offset, digital or screen printing all apply. Gloss and matte finishes are both available. Orders start from 100 units. Each individual design carries its own minimum. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free. There are no setup fees. Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free.

Our experience with ACP UK was overall good. They were able to work with our extremely tight timeline and were very responsive and communicative. I will say that there were some things about our final product that we were not happy with, such as creasing of the graphics and images were not full bleed on the cover of our boxes like they were supposed to be. ACP UK was not able to fix the problems on the boxes due to our tight timeline, so we ended up with a product that were were a little less than satisfied with. Is there a standard size, or does it depend on where it's going on the car?
No single standard size. A small windscreen-corner badge and a full bumper strip call for different proportions entirely. Let us know which spot on the vehicle it's for, and sizing follows from that.
Can I supply a Pantone reference to match the flag's black and white exactly?
Yes. A Pantone reference can be used alongside CMYK values to manage colour consistency, which is worth doing here specifically, since the flag's whole design rests on that one contrast.
What is the minimum order for a Cornish Flag Car Sticker?
Orders start from 100 units. If you're ordering more than one design, say a plain flag and a personalised version, each one needs to hit that number separately. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval.
Are these stickers recyclable?
Not straightforwardly. An uncoated paper label may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams, but this product is built from vinyl film on an adhesive layer, which never enters that paper stream to begin with. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.
