Your logo is printed on a flat sheet, but the face it ends up on is bowed. Once the box is formed, that face rises in the middle and slopes down to the long folded edges on either side, and the two ends close with curved flaps. Every placement choice comes from that shape.

The middle of the face

The middle of the face, along its length, is the part that points straight at whoever is looking at the box. A logo there reads cleanly from the front, which is where the main mark sits on each of the logo boxes pictured here. A pillow box usually lies flat, front face up, on a shelf or a gift table, so run the logo along the length of the box, where it reads naturally with the box lying down.

Keeping clear of the long edges

Towards the long folded edges the face slopes away from the viewer, so anything printed close to them tilts out of sight. A tall logo, or small text such as a web address, is easiest to read kept within the raised middle band and away from those edges. A long wordmark that runs along the length of the box sits comfortably on that band.

The end flaps

Each end closes with a curved flap that folds in, and the flaps show as small curved panels at either end. They make a good place for a second, smaller mark: a name, a short line or a colour that picks out the brand. One of the boxes pictured prints a bright end flap with a name on it, while the face carries the main logo.

Two logos on one box

For an event or a partnership, two logos can sit side by side along the middle of the face, with a thin line or a gap between them so neither looks like part of the other. Give both the same height, so neither reads as the junior partner unless that is the point.

Print and the next step

Offset, digital and screen printing can all carry the logo, chosen by the artwork and the number of boxes. Branded Product Boxes names the files that keep a logo sharp at any size. Dressing the box as a gift, with a band or a cut-out shape, is planned on Pillow Gift Boxes, and the Pillow Boxes category offers kraft and solid colours.

Product FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about ordering, artwork, production, materials and delivery.

What is the minimum order for custom pillow boxes with logo?

Orders start from 100 units.

Can the logo go on the back as well as the front?

Yes. The back is a second face of the same shape, but it is the one underneath when the box lies down, so it suits secondary details such as a web address or a short message.

Are custom pillow boxes with logo recyclable?

An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally. We can explain the general recyclability considerations of the selected material and finishing options, so you can make accurate claims on your own packaging.
