Guests notice a favour box more than most packaging, because they pick it up, turn it over and often keep it. That puts more weight on getting the size and the personalisation right than a box nobody handles this closely.
The favour decides the box, before guest count does
A single wrapped sweet, a couple of chocolates and a small keepsake all need a genuinely different footprint, so size is set by the favour itself rather than read off a table of guest numbers. A tuck-end lid suits a quick, flat-packed favour that still needs to look tidy on a table. A separate lid and base gives a slightly more formal presentation where that matters. A ribbon tie finishes either construction without needing anything printed on it to look intentional. None of these is the universal right answer, which is why it’s confirmed at the quote stage rather than defaulted to whichever is quickest to make.
One design, or a different name on every box
One design, printed identically on every box, is the standard route: the couple’s names and the date, set once and repeated across the whole run. Swapping in a different guest’s name on each individual box is a separate job, done digitally rather than from a fixed print plate, and it needs a name list supplied with the order rather than one piece of artwork.
Orders start from 100 units. Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free. There are no setup fees. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. That figure covers the standard route. Variable-data runs are quoted separately, since the job itself is different, not just longer or shorter. UK delivery is free.
When this is not the right box
Food-contact material suitability is confirmed for the specific material before production. That applies wherever the favour itself is edible. For a heart-shaped box specifically, Heart Shaped Wedding Favour Boxes covers that shape directly. Does variable per-guest printing cost more or take longer than one shared design?
Usually, yes. A digital run set up for changing text on every unit takes different production planning from one fixed design repeated across a batch, so treat it as its own quote rather than an add-on to the standard order.
What is the minimum order for Wedding Favour Boxes?
Orders start from 100 units. It resets for each new design rather than carrying over. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval.
Are Wedding Favour Boxes recyclable?
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. A ribbon tie or a foiled name adds a second material the plain case doesn't carry. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.
