Pricing
A custom printed envelope, in its plain form, is a flat sheet of paper folded and glued into shape. It closes on a self-seal strip, available on demand, with no tape, glue pot or wax needed at the point of use. That’s the whole structure: no padding inside, no cut window, no stiffened core. Printing sits on top, covering the front, the flap, or both, in a brand’s own colours.
Where the plain format stops and a named sibling starts
Once cushioning, a window or extra stiffness gets added, the product becomes one of its own separately specified siblings instead of a variation on this one. Internal padding for something breakable in transit is Padded Envelopes. A stiffer, document-safe alternative that resists bending in the post is Personalised Cardboard Envelopes. A cut aperture over an address panel, instead of a printed one, belongs to 9×12 Window Envelopes. Each of those three is a structural change, not a finish option, so it gets settled before the envelope size or the print run does.
Printing can run on either side without changing how it closes
Staying flat and unpadded means the front panel, the back flap and the inside of the flap can each carry printing without needing a different construction underneath. Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method. A return address, a logo or a short message can sit on any of those surfaces, specified at the quote stage.

What keeps a custom printed envelope closed if there's no tape?
A self-seal adhesive strip, available on demand, closes the flap under light pressure. It's applied at production, so nothing needs licking, wetting or taping at the point of use.
Does the envelope have to be white, or can a coloured stock be used?
White is the standard default, but natural brown or black kraft can be specified instead, agreed at the same point as the size and closure.
Are Custom Printed Envelopes recyclable?
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.
What is the minimum order for Custom Printed Envelopes?
Orders start from 100 units. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval.
