A battery moving loose inside a box is the actual risk this packaging exists to manage. A die-cut insert, cut to your battery’s own dimensions, holds the unit fixed in place and keeps its terminals away from other terminals or any loose metal in the box, which is the structural job the packaging genuinely does. Rigid board, corrugated and kraft board are all available, and EPE or EVA foam inserts are an option where a cushioned fit suits the product better than a card die-cut.
Printing space is not certification
Plenty of suppliers in this market imply their own box is what makes a battery shipment compliant, sometimes printing a certification mark straight onto the carton as though the box itself had earned it. A box cannot hold a certification the shipment doesn’t genuinely have. What ours can do is get the structural side right: fixed positioning, isolated terminals, a material suited to the battery’s weight and how far it is travelling. Beyond that, we can lay out clear panels for the warning text, battery icon or reference number your shipment needs to carry, printed to a specification you confirm. Getting that specification right, and getting the shipment classified and labelled correctly for dangerous-goods transport, stays a call for you or your regulatory adviser to make.
Branding sits on the panels the required markings don’t need, printed alongside them rather than in place of them. Offset, digital and screen printing are all available for the branded side of the box. Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method.

I will say that there were some things about our final product that we were not happy with, such as creasing of the graphics and images were not full bleed on the cover of our boxes like they were supposed to be. ACP UK was not able to fix the problems on the boxes due to our tight timeline, so we ended up with a product that were were a little less than satisfied with. They offered us a discount on our next order. I think their pricing overall was fair and competitive. We may use them on project in the future again if we are able to see an image of the boxes before they go into full production like we were told that they would do last time.

I was assisted by Frank. Overall I had a satisfactory experience, and in the end my boxes turned out really nice. The stock is nice, and Frank was really helpful getting them where they needed to be. The first iterations the boxes were sized wrong, but once we got it figured out and I got the art I requested some samples before moving forward. They printed off some samples, and they were great minus a slight adjustment to the perforation. They made the adjustment and got the final order out and so far I am pleased with the quality, especially for the price. The only thing that would have bumped this up to a 5 star review would have been a little bit quicker overall experience, part of which was my fault.

Does the insert change if I switch from a phone battery to a power bank?
The die-cut is set by the physical shape and dimensions of whatever you're packing, not by which of those three it happens to be. Send us the item's measurements and we cut to that. Chemistry and battery type only come into it when you're deciding what warning wording needs printing, which is a detail you supply.
Can the insert fit more than one battery in the same box?
Yes, where the die-cut is designed for it. Each position is still cut to hold its own unit fixed and its terminals clear of the others, rather than leaving multiple units loose together in one cavity.
Are these boxes recyclable?
The board itself may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams when it is unlaminated rather than heavily laminated. Pull out any fitted foam insert first, since it runs through its own separate stream rather than the board's. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.
