A watch isn’t a mystery item the way most things going into an empty gift box are. A wristwatch has a fairly standard case size whichever model ends up inside, so the box itself is rarely the hard question. The real one is what holds the watch in place once it’s in there.
The pillow decision
A die-cut pillow or cushion insert holds a watch face up and keeps its strap or band from shifting. It’s cut specifically to a watch’s dimensions, the same way any insert is cut to whatever it needs to hold. Fitted, it turns a plain box into something that presents the watch rather than just containing it, and it’s the part that stops a strap sliding around every time the box is moved. Left out, the box ships as a plain shell, which suits a retailer who already stocks their own pillows across a range of watch sizes and doesn’t want one baked into every box. Neither is the default; it’s a genuine specification choice, and it’s worth deciding before the size and material rather than after.
Stock, ready-made or your own print
These boxes are available three ways: genuinely blank stock, a ready-made stock design, or your own printed artwork. Nothing about picking a ready-to-go route changes the order minimum or how long production takes against a custom print. Paperboard, kraft, corrugated and rigid stock are all available. A logo on a compact lid is usually finished with foil stamping, embossing or debossing rather than flat print. Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method.
Orders start from 100 units. Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free. There are no setup fees. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free.

The first iterations the boxes were sized wrong, but once we got it figured out and I got the art I requested some samples before moving forward. They printed off some samples, and they were great minus a slight adjustment to the perforation. They made the adjustment and got the final order out and so far I am pleased with the quality, especially for the price. The only thing that would have bumped this up to a 5 star review would have been a little bit quicker overall experience, part of which was my fault.

Is the pillow or cushion insert included automatically, or is that a separate request?
It's a specification choice either way, not a default. Tell us if you want a fitted pillow holding the watch face up and the strap secured, or a plain shell with nothing built in, and it's built into the specification from there.
Can I order these completely plain, with no printing at all?
Yes, plain and unbranded is one of three available routes: genuinely blank stock, a pre-made stock look, or your own design. All three share the same order minimum and production time.
What is the minimum order for Empty Watch Gift Boxes?
Orders start from 100 units. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval.
Are these boxes recyclable?
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. A fitted pillow or cushion insert adds a different material on top of the box's own board, so it changes the picture. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.
