A box for one cupcake is not a small version of a multi-cavity box. It is solving a different problem.
What one cupcake actually needs
A multi-cavity box exists to keep several cupcakes apart from each other. Take that down to one cupcake and the dividing question disappears entirely. Two different questions take its place: how snugly the base holds that single cupcake still, and how much clear space sits above the frosting before the lid. A loose base lets the cupcake slide and the frosting smear against the sides. A lid set too close flattens whatever decoration sits on top. Both are settled by the insert and the internal height, matched to the cupcake in front of you rather than a generic size.
A window, and what it actually shows
A single cupcake is small enough that a window shows the whole thing at once, not just a section of a larger bake. That makes the window choice carry more visual weight per box here than it would on a bigger cake box, so it is a decision worth settling early rather than as an afterthought.
Getting the print right at this scale
Offset, digital and screen printing are available, subject to specification. Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method. Matt and gloss lamination, foil stamping, embossing, debossing and spot UV are available, subject to specification.
Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free. It is useful here for checking the base insert actually holds the cupcake exactly where you’d expect, ahead of finalising the size. Orders start from 100 units. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free. There are no setup fees.
Food-contact suitability and where the responsibility sits
Food-contact material suitability is confirmed for the specific material before production. Confirming any information printed on the box remains your business’s responsibility, or that of its regulatory adviser.

I was assisted by Frank. Overall I had a satisfactory experience, and in the end my boxes turned out really nice. The stock is nice, and Frank was really helpful getting them where they needed to be. The first iterations the boxes were sized wrong, but once we got it figured out and I got the art I requested some samples before moving forward. They printed off some samples, and they were great minus a slight adjustment to the perforation. They made the adjustment and got the final order out and so far I am pleased with the quality, especially for the price. The only thing that would have bumped this up to a 5 star review would have been a little bit quicker overall experience, part of which was my fault.

What is the minimum order for Single Cupcake Boxes?
Orders start from 100 units. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free.
Should I still ask for dividers, just in case?
No. If you ever need to fit more than one cupcake in the same box, that calls for a genuinely different product, Cupcake Boxes With Dividers, rather than this one with an extra feature bolted on. The two are built around different problems from the ground up.
Can the box include a window?
Yes. Make sure the frosting height you give us for the base insert also gets factored into where the window sits, not just how big it is, so the decoration doesn't end up pressed against the film.
Are Single Cupcake Boxes recyclable?
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.
