A blank cereal box carries no print of any kind, made in paperboard or kraft. Ordered to your own size, it follows the standard order terms across the range. Orders start from 100 units. It's also genuinely held as ready-to-go stock, on its own separate terms.
No print anywhere on the box is the one fixed point. Everything else, how you actually get one, splits into two genuinely different paths, and this page keeps them separate rather than letting one set of figures stand in for both.
Built to your own size, it’s an order like any other on this range. Orders start from 100 units. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free. There are no setup fees. UK delivery is free. Taken instead as ready-to-go stock, off what’s actually held rather than a production run, availability and lead time are confirmed at quote instead of fixed to those figures, since stock changes with what’s currently on the shelf.
A box left blank is never actually the finished item; a label, a sleeve or an in-house print run goes over it afterwards, and that later step is what decides which material makes sense now. Paperboard gives a smooth, even surface a printed label adheres to cleanly, which is why it suits anyone applying branding after the box arrives. Kraft’s uncoated, natural surface stays visible around and under a label rather than disappearing beneath it, so brands leaning on that look on purpose tend toward kraft specifically for what shows at the edges.
A tuck-end closure, folded top and bottom, holds a light, uniform fill without any extra hardware. Nuts, seeds and dried fruit add weight and press unevenly rather than sitting flat, and an auto-lock base is the sturdier answer there: it locks flat on its own instead of relying on tucked flaps to carry the load. Both are confirmed constructions. The board grade is chosen around the weight of the filled product and how far it travels. Base style and board grade get settled together rather than one forcing the other. A window can be die-cut into the front panel too, for a product where seeing what’s inside matters more than keeping it covered until it’s opened.
Food-contact material suitability is confirmed for the specific material before production. For a compact single-serve or hotel-amenity format, Mini Cereal Boxes or Individual Cereal Boxes is sized for that rather than a full retail carton. Where the construction itself is the starting point rather than a paperboard-versus-kraft choice, Cardboard Cereal Boxes covers that. Needing the box printed rather than left blank routes to Custom Printed Cereal Boxes instead. The wider range sits under Cereal Boxes.

Tell us the size, or your product's fill weight if a size isn't settled yet. We'll check what's currently held and tell you plainly if it needs a production run instead. There's no published stock list, since what's held changes.
Often, yes. A plain tucked base isn't built to carry uneven weight from nuts, seeds or dried fruit indefinitely. Describe the fill, in general terms, and let us know how it settles inside the box, and the base gets picked around that rather than defaulted.
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. A plain, uncoated box with no window fits that description well. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.
Made to your own size, the standard terms apply. Orders start from 100 units. Taken as ready-to-go stock instead, there's no published minimum, since it depends on what's actually held at the time.
