A transparent finishing layer available in gloss, satin, or matte effects. It enhances the printed surface and adds an extra layer of visual appeal and light protection.
A sticker cut to your own custom outline rather than a fixed shape, with honest guidance on what makes a design cut cleanly. Orders start from 100 units.
Cutting a sticker to a custom outline means slicing through both the face material and the backing, following the exact shape of the design rather than leaving it inside a square or a circle. That gives a design its own shape, but not every shape cuts equally well.
A thin point or a narrow bridge between two parts of a design is fragile once it’s cut free of everything around it, and can tear or lift at the tip during application. A small gap fully enclosed inside a shape, the hole in a letter or a loop in a logo, changes what happens next. It either fills in solid, or it needs a deliberate small bridge left in place to hold it together, which alters how that part of the design reads. A sharp interior corner cuts less cleanly than a smoothed one, since a blade or a cutting head naturally rounds a tight inward angle slightly rather than holding it perfectly square. None of this rules a design out. Flagging it before artwork is finalised means a shape gets adjusted on purpose, not discovered as a problem after cutting.
A flat image on its own isn’t enough. Cutting to a custom outline needs a vector cut path, a defined line the cutting equipment actually follows, separate from the printed artwork sitting inside it. Design support is free. Getting a cut path set up correctly from artwork that doesn’t have one yet is exactly the kind of thing worth raising early, rather than assumed as already handled.
Kiss-cut leaves a design sitting on a square or rectangular backing sheet, with a wide margin to hold while peeling it off. Die-cut removes that margin entirely, so the sticker is genuinely more fiddly to peel than a kiss-cut one, with less to grip before it lifts free. Stating that plainly matters, since die-cut isn’t automatically the better pick in every case; something handled and reapplied often can suit kiss-cut better for exactly this reason.
Offset, digital or screen printing all apply to a custom shape the same way as any sticker. Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method. A gloss, matte or other finish can be specified to suit the design.
Orders start from 100 units. Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free. There are no setup fees. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free.
A genuinely intricate design, fine detail spread right across it rather than one or two thin points, often struggles to die-cut cleanly at all. Choosing kiss-cut instead keeps the backing sheet intact for support, the safer route when a shape won’t hold together well on its own once it’s fully separated from the surrounding material. For a fixed round shape at an exact diameter, see 1.5 Inch Round Stickers. A fixed set of ten plain digits belongs at Small Number Stickers 0-9. An embossed finish, rather than the shape, is what Black Embossed Stickers works through. Outdoor use on a car exterior, with its own material and adhesive questions, sits at Anime Car Decal Stickers. Everything else in this category is listed under Stickers And Labels.

Not on the production timeline itself. What a complicated outline actually affects is the checking that happens beforehand, since a fiddly cut path is worth confirming properly rather than rushing straight into a run.
Yes. A digital 3D mock-up, included free, sets out the shape and print exactly as specified before anything is produced. Beyond that, a physical sample can be arranged as a separate, quoted step, worth considering where a hands-on check of a fiddly cut matters more than a digital preview does.
Yes, but the two are treated as separate designs. Orders start from 100 units. That figure applies to a die-cut version and a kiss-cut version of the same artwork independently, not combined into a single run.
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally. The custom shape itself makes no difference either way; material and finish drive the answer, not the outline.
