Custom Printed Cake Boxes come with a genuine choice of print area, outside only or inside as well, matched to how and where the cake is actually sold. Orders start from 100 units.
Printing the outside only puts the branding to work before the box is ever opened, on a shelf or a counter where a customer is choosing between boxes. Printing the inside as well gives the branding a second appearance, right as the lid comes off. That second appearance matters more for a cake that’s gifted, collected, or delivered away from the point of sale than one bought and eaten on the spot. Each choice fits a different moment when the box is actually seen: pick the one that matches when your own customer is most likely to notice it. A bakery selling mostly across its own counter usually gets more from the first; one shipping or gifting cakes usually gets more from the second.
Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method. Either print-area choice can be paired with matt and gloss lamination, foil stamping, embossing, debossing and spot UV, subject to specification.
Food-contact material suitability is confirmed for the specific material before production. The artwork layout can reserve clear panels for the information the product is required to display. All Custom Packaging can help organise the available print space, but the brand or its regulatory adviser remains responsible for confirming the accuracy and completeness of the required product information.
Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free. It’s worth seeing the folded box before committing to a run here, since any inside print stays hidden until the lid opens. Orders start from 100 units. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free. There are no setup fees.
Sizing for a long, narrow bake instead of a standard footprint is answered on Cardboard Loaf Cake Boxes. Wanting the cake seen through the box itself, instead of a printed surface, is answered on 10 Inch Cake Boxes With Window.

It should stay close. Printing the same artwork on two different surfaces of the same box is still two separate print passes, and Pantone or CMYK colour is only ever managed to be consistent, not identical, across different passes and materials.
The layout can reserve a clear panel for that information. Getting the wording right and legally sufficient is a call for you to make, alongside a food-labelling adviser if needed, not something ACP confirms on your behalf.
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally
