A box built for a sack of potatoes and a box built for a bag of spinach have almost nothing structurally in common, even though the same catalogue name covers both.
Why the crop itself decides the board weight
A crate of potatoes, carrots or onions is dense and heavy for its own volume. A box of the same size filled with lettuce, spinach or courgettes is much lighter. A board weight and wall strength chosen for the lighter case can flex or fail under the heavier one. A board specified for a heavy root crop, on the other hand, is more than a light leafy load actually needs. Naming the crop, or at least its rough weight, before the board is picked is what settles this properly, rather than defaulting to one specification for whatever vegetable happens to be going through next.
Ventilation is cut into the structure to suit the crop rather than fixed to a single pattern, the same as on any produce box. Food-contact material suitability is confirmed for the specific material before production. That matters here specifically, since loose vegetables commonly sit directly against the board with no wrapping between them.
Getting a farm name or logo onto the box
The board itself can be corrugated, kraft or rigid, picked to suit the weight going in and the distance it has to travel. Farm name, produce labelling or general branding can all be printed across the outer panels. Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method.

I will say that there were some things about our final product that we were not happy with, such as creasing of the graphics and images were not full bleed on the cover of our boxes like they were supposed to be. ACP UK was not able to fix the problems on the boxes due to our tight timeline, so we ended up with a product that were were a little less than satisfied with. They offered us a discount on our next order. I think their pricing overall was fair and competitive. We may use them on project in the future again if we are able to see an image of the boxes before they go into full production like we were told that they would do last time.

The team at All Custom Packaging UK was very responsive. They were quick to respond to my emails and the turn around time on the boxes was fast! The first run of boxes did have colors slightly off and they fixed it on the second run.
The cost of the boxes was less than other suppliers. I will say the boxes are a bit on the flimsy side, not super sturdy but perfect for my needs. I will definitely use them again in the future.

What is the minimum order for Custom Vegetable Boxes?
Orders start from 100 units. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval.
Can I switch between crops on repeat orders without changing the box?
Sometimes, but it isn't automatic. A repeat order for the same crop reuses the existing specification as is. Switching to a noticeably different crop, especially a jump in density, is worth raising before that run is placed, since the board that suited the first crop might not suit the second.
Are these boxes recyclable?
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.
Is there a maximum amount of produce one box is rated to hold?
Nothing is published as a blanket figure, because capacity genuinely tracks the board and build selected rather than sitting at one fixed number across the whole range. Once the crop and roughly how much of it is going in are known, a quote can confirm what that specific build is expected to carry.
