A generic lid-and-base box built for a small item leaves real empty space inside once it’s closed, space that’s exactly what lets the item shift or sit off-centre in transit or on a shelf. Sizing the box to the item removes most of that slack before anything else is decided.
Whether that’s enough on its own depends on the item. A gift card or a flat trinket sits fine in a well-fitted box with no further help. A ring, a pendant or anything that can roll or slide benefits from a small insert shaped specifically to hold it still, added on top of the smaller box rather than instead of it. Tell us the item’s shape and size, and the box and any insert get specified together.
Orders start from 100 units. That applies per design, so a range of small sizes ordered together is several separate minimums rather than one shared figure. Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free. There are no setup fees. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free.

The first iterations the boxes were sized wrong, but once we got it figured out and I got the art I requested some samples before moving forward. They printed off some samples, and they were great minus a slight adjustment to the perforation. They made the adjustment and got the final order out and so far I am pleased with the quality, especially for the price. The only thing that would have bumped this up to a 5 star review would have been a little bit quicker overall experience, part of which was my fault.

None of the available finishes are ruled out by the smaller size, and a foiled detail in particular often stands out more against a compact area than the same detail would spread across a larger box.
