A pair of sunglasses fails in two genuinely different ways in transit, and one box has to answer both. No dimension is fixed on this range; we build around whatever frame you send us.
Two risks, not one
A lens scratches against whatever touches it, so the lining next to the glass has to be soft and non-abrasive. A frame bends or snaps under a crushing weight or a sharp knock, so the box structure around it has to resist that, independent of what lines the inside. These are two separate specification decisions. Most packaging copy on this term treats them as one generic “protection” claim instead. That misses the actual choice a buyer needs to make: a soft lens-facing lining and a structure sized to the frame, settled together rather than assumed from a single material choice.
Corrugated and rigid board are both confirmed materials, and the choice between them sits on the frame side of that decision. Corrugated flexes slightly on impact, which absorbs some of a knock rather than transferring it straight to the frame, and travels lighter through a courier network. Rigid board holds its shape more firmly and gives a heavier, more premium feel on unboxing, at the cost of some of that give. Neither is the automatically correct choice; it depends on how the box will actually travel and what the brand wants a customer to feel opening it.
Branding it without confusing the two protections
Offset, digital and screen printing are available, chosen around the specification and quantity. Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method. Matt and gloss lamination, foil stamping, embossing, debossing and spot UV can all be specified on the outer print surface. Anti-scratch coating can be added there too, worth keeping separate in your mind from the lens-facing lining inside, since the two are solving different problems.
Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free. It lets you confirm the frame sits clear of the box sides before a size is finalised. Orders start from 100 units. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free. There are no setup fees.

What is the minimum order for Sunglasses Shipping Boxes?
Orders start from 100 units. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free.
Does the lining protect the lenses from scratching?
That is its job, and it works independently of whatever the outer box is made from. A rigid outer shell with a rough-textured inner surface will still mark a lens if nothing softer sits between them, which is why the lining is specified on its own merits rather than assumed to follow from the board choice.
Can the box guarantee my sunglasses arrive undamaged?
No single construction can promise that, and it's better to say so plainly. What a well-specified box does is address each real risk separately: the lining against scratching, the structure against a crush or a hard knock. Neither claim covers every possible outcome in transit.
Are Sunglasses Shipping Boxes recyclable?
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.
