Logo-printed poly mailers put a shop’s name in front of the customer before the parcel is opened. The layout still has to work once a courier label is stuck on and the flap is sealed.

What goes on the bag

Besides the logo, printed mailers often carry a thank-you line, a request for a review, a web address, or small icons for email, messaging and social accounts. A faint pattern can run across the whole face behind them. Each extra line competes with the logo for the eye. A layout with the logo largest, one short message, and contact details kept small along an edge reads at a glance on the doorstep. Bags with a different customer name on each one need variable printing, available with Personalised Poly Mailers.

Where the courier label lands

The delivery label has to go somewhere, and anything printed under it is hidden. Where it goes is the shop’s choice. On a bag printed on one face only, the label can sit on the plain back and the design stays whole. When packers stick it on the printed face, the layout keeps the logo and the message together and leaves a clear area for the label. The size of the courier label the business uses, and the corner where it usually goes, set how big that clear area needs to be.

A label-sized block on the mock-up

Placing a rectangle the size of the courier label onto the mock-up shows straight away what it would cover. A message or a contact line that falls under it can be moved or made smaller in the artwork, and the clear area is then fixed in the design rather than left to the packer.

The film behind the design

The film is the background for everything printed on it, so its colour is picked together with the artwork. Black, pink and white film are all options, and the same logo reads differently on each. Ink choice on dark film is its own question, answered on the Black Poly Mailers With Logo page. Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method. Printing on the film is by offset, digital or screen method, matched to the design and how many bags are ordered.

Handle hole and seal strip

A die-cut hole can be added near the top of the bag, a detail some shops choose for orders handed over in person. The top of the design then has to stay clear of the cut. A peel-off adhesive strip can be added along the flap.

Orders start from 100 units. Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free. There are no setup fees. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free.

Product FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about ordering, artwork, production, materials and delivery.

What is the minimum order for custom poly mailers with logo?

Orders start from 100 units.

Can a QR code be printed on a mailer?

Yes, as part of the artwork. It needs a clear, flat area away from the courier label and the seal so it can be scanned.

Are poly mailers recyclable?

An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Being a plastic film rather than board, a poly mailer goes to soft-plastics collection points, not a paper or card bin. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally. We can explain the general recyclability considerations of the selected material and finishing options, so you can make accurate claims on your own packaging.
