An empty pizza box is a genuine ready-to-go stock line, in the same way “empty” works across ACP’s catalogue. Three routes exist: blank, unprinted board with nothing added; a pre-made stock look that needs no bespoke run behind it; or a full custom print, built from your own artwork. None of the three carries different commercial terms. The general reasoning behind that three-way choice, and the same offer for any food box in the range, is covered fully on Empty Food Boxes.
Why size is the real question for a pizza box specifically
A pizza is a far more standardised shape than “a food box” in general. A generic empty food box could suit almost any format. A pizza box’s diameter, by contrast, sits within a small, well-known range that most orders fall into: UK pizza packaging generally clusters around 10, 12, 14 and 16 inches, a market pattern rather than a fixed ACP size list. Tell us the sizes your business actually moves, and the ready-to-go route is specified against that figure instead of a generic assumption.
Alongside paperboard, kraft and rigid stock generally, a fluted corrugated build is separately confirmed as a pizza-specific option. The custom-print route can carry gloss, matte or spot UV as a finish. Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method.
These boxes hold food directly. Food-contact material suitability is confirmed for the specific material before production. Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free. There are no setup fees. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free.

I was assisted by Frank. Overall I had a satisfactory experience, and in the end my boxes turned out really nice. The stock is nice, and Frank was really helpful getting them where they needed to be. The first iterations the boxes were sized wrong, but once we got it figured out and I got the art I requested some samples before moving forward. They printed off some samples, and they were great minus a slight adjustment to the perforation. They made the adjustment and got the final order out and so far I am pleased with the quality, especially for the price. The only thing that would have bumped this up to a 5 star review would have been a little bit quicker overall experience, part of which was my fault.

If I choose the pre-made design route, will it actually look pizza-specific, or just like a generic food box?
Exactly what's held as pre-made stock isn't published as a fixed catalogue, so it gets confirmed once we know the look you're after rather than picked from a list in advance. Ask us directly before deciding between that route, blank stock or a custom print.
Does the ready-to-go stock come with any grease-resistant coating, or is that only on a custom order?
That's a specification question, not something tied to blank, pre-made or custom. A clay-coated face reduces how much grease reaches the outside on any of the three, but nothing turns a plain board into something oil can't get through at all.
What is the minimum order for Empty Pizza Boxes?
Orders start from 100 units. That figure holds across all three routes: blank, pre-made or custom. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval.
Are these boxes recyclable?
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.
