A branded product box carries more than a logo. It uses the same colours, type and tone as your website, labels and shop, so a customer recognises it before reading a word. It can be any style in our Custom Product Boxes range, from a folding carton to a corrugated mailer like the kraft ones pictured here. Getting the brand right starts with what reaches the designer.
The files that make a box look like your brand
A logo drawn as vector artwork can be scaled to any panel without blurring. It usually arrives as an AI, EPS, SVG or PDF file, though a picture pasted into one of those files is still a picture, not vector artwork. A logo copied from a website is often a small image that softens once it is enlarged. Colour references matter just as much: Pantone numbers or CMYK values give a fixed target instead of a match judged by eye from a screen. Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method. Any typeface in the artwork should be converted to outlines or supplied with its font files, so the text prints in the face you chose. If your brand has guidelines, include them, since they set the rules a designer should follow: how much clear space the logo needs, its smallest size, and which colours it may sit on.
The board changes how your colours look

When there are no brand guidelines

I was assisted by Frank. Overall I had a satisfactory experience, and in the end my boxes turned out really nice. The stock is nice, and Frank was really helpful getting them where they needed to be. The first iterations the boxes were sized wrong, but once we got it figured out and I got the art I requested some samples before moving forward. They printed off some samples, and they were great minus a slight adjustment to the perforation. They made the adjustment and got the final order out and so far I am pleased with the quality, especially for the price. The only thing that would have bumped this up to a 5 star review would have been a little bit quicker overall experience, part of which was my fault.

Our experience with ACP UK was overall good. They were able to work with our extremely tight timeline and were very responsive and communicative. I will say that there were some things about our final product that we were not happy with, such as creasing of the graphics and images were not full bleed on the cover of our boxes like they were supposed to be. ACP UK was not able to fix the problems on the boxes due to our tight timeline, so we ended up with a product that were were a little less than satisfied with. They offered us a discount on our next order. I think their pricing overall was fair and competitive. We may use them on project in the future again if we are able to see an image of the boxes before they go into full production like we were told that they would do last time.

What is the minimum order for branded product boxes?
Orders start from 100 units.
My logo is only a JPEG or PNG. Can it still be used?
It can be checked against the panel it will print on. If it is too small for that size, a vector version of the logo will give a sharper result; ask about this when you send your artwork.
Are branded product boxes recyclable?
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally. We can explain the general recyclability considerations of the selected material and finishing options, so you can make accurate claims on your own packaging.
