A sweet box usually has one job: hold a known quantity of one thing. A hamper box has a harder one, because what’s going in is several different things, often different shapes, decided by whoever is putting the hamper together rather than fixed in advance.
What dividing an assortment actually needs
A single product sitting in a box has one shape to size around. An assortment has several. The real question is which of them can knock together on the way, and which need keeping apart entirely. Jars roll. Wrapped sweets slide. A loose or delicate piece can crush under something heavier stacked on top of it. An insert or divider, cut to the actual mix you’re packing, is what controls that movement. That is a genuinely different specification from a single slot cut for one uniform item, built around your actual mix rather than guessed at. An integral die-cut carry handle or a fitted wire handle is available too, which is worth considering on a box that’s likely to be picked up and carried as a gift rather than opened where it’s put down.
Stock or made to order
As with the rest of this range, being empty means genuinely two things: a blank, unprinted box, or a design already made up and ready to send, both distinct from a bespoke custom-printed order. Exactly which colours and sizes are held is a quote-stage question rather than a published list. A full custom print runs to offset, digital or screen printing, with matt and gloss lamination, foil stamping, embossing, debossing and spot UV available depending on the specification.
Orders start from 100 units. Splitting that figure across several designs isn’t possible; each design carries its own hundred. Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free. There are no setup fees. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free.
When this is not the right box
Food-contact material suitability is confirmed for the specific material before production. That applies to whatever mix of sweets is actually going in. The first iterations the boxes were sized wrong, but once we got it figured out and I got the art I requested some samples before moving forward. They printed off some samples, and they were great minus a slight adjustment to the perforation. They made the adjustment and got the final order out and so far I am pleased with the quality, especially for the price. My hamper has jars, wrapped sweets and one or two loose pieces. How does that get priced against a single-item box?
Usually a little higher at the same quantity, because the interior is built around several shapes instead of one repeated slot. Send the full mix through with your enquiry and it'll be reflected in the figure you get back.
Is a genuinely blank version actually stocked?
Yes, alongside a pre-made design and a full custom print as the other two routes. Which sizes and shades are held isn't published as a list; confirm with your quote.
What is the minimum order for Empty Sweet Hamper Boxes?
Orders start from 100 units. That minimum applies per design and can't be split across several. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval.
Are these boxes recyclable?
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. A ribbon closure or a plastic window changes that picture, so it's worth confirming the exact specification. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.
