A mascara tube rarely arrives damaged. The wand does. It’s the thinnest, most exposed part of the product, and a box with even a little room to move will let it flex against the wall on every bump of a delivery van. We size the carton tight to your tube specifically to stop that, rather than just leaving general clearance around the outer shape.
Built for the shade range, not one tube
Mascara rarely sells as a single SKU. Most brands run a shade or formula range, waterproof against standard, black against brown, and the box needs to hold that range together visually while still fitting each individual tube. We print each variant against the same core design with only the shade panel changing, and can add inserts for duo or trio multi-packs where two or three tubes ship together.

Our experience with ACP UK was overall good. They were able to work with our extremely tight timeline and were very responsive and communicative. I will say that there were some things about our final product that we were not happy with, such as creasing of the graphics and images were not full bleed on the cover of our boxes like they were supposed to be. ACP UK was not able to fix the problems on the boxes due to our tight timeline, so we ended up with a product that were were a little less than satisfied with. They offered us a discount on our next order. I think their pricing overall was fair and competitive. We may use them on project in the future again if we are able to see an image of the boxes before they go into full production like we were told that they would do last time.

Will the box stop the wand from bending in transit?
Yes. We cut the carton tight to your tube rather than leaving loose clearance, which is what stops the wand flexing against the box wall during shipping.
Can I box mascara as a duo or trio set?
Yes. Multi-pack inserts hold two or three tubes securely in one carton, which suits paired formulas or gift sets.
Can each shade in my range have its own colour panel?
Yes. We keep one core design across your range and change only the shade panel per variant, so the range reads as one family on the shelf.
Can the box have a window to show the wand?
Yes, a die-cut window is available if you want the wand or tube colour visible rather than fully enclosed.
What is the minimum order and turnaround?
100 units per design. Production takes 6 to 8 business days after you approve a video of your physical sample, with free UK delivery.
Can a cardboard box still look premium?
Yes. The finish does the work. A matt or soft-touch lamination, spot UV or a touch of foil lifts a cardboard box well beyond the cost of the board.
When should I choose cardboard over rigid?
For everyday ranges, regular-purchase products and anywhere unit cost matters. Rigid suits gift sets, prestige launches and boxes sold on the unboxing.
What products suit a cardboard cosmetic box?
