A wedding dress storage box built in acid-free materials and sized to your actual dress, train and volume included, rather than a generic garment-box size. Meant for years of sealed storage. Orders start from 100 units.
A wedding dress rarely fits the size chart a normal garment box was built around, and this box is specified around the actual dress instead.
A train, a full skirt, heavy beading or multiple layers all add volume a standard garment-box size was never built to hold. Send us the dress’s own dimensions, folded as loosely as you’d genuinely want it stored, and the box gets built to that measurement. Interleaving each fold with Acid Free Tissue Paper as the dress goes in keeps the fabric from resting directly against itself where it’s folded, which matters more the longer it stays folded the same way without being moved.
Most packaging gets used for weeks or months and is then discarded. This box is typically sealed and left untouched for years or decades as an heirloom, which is exactly the span of time over which slow chemical yellowing and brittleness actually become visible. What “acid-free” means as a manufacturing choice, and the honest limit on what it can and can’t do over that span, has its own full page on Acid Free Tissue Paper, and isn’t repeated a second time here.
Offset, digital and screen printing are available, subject to specification. Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method. Embossing and debossing are available, and a name or wedding date is a genuinely common request worth planning into the design from the start rather than fitting in afterwards.
Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free. It is useful here for confirming the box comfortably fits the dress as folded before a size is committed to. Orders start from 100 units. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free. There are no setup fees.
Where acid-free construction isn’t the priority, Wedding Dress Boxes covers the standard version. If you already have a box and only need the interleaving material, Acid Free Tissue Paper is available on its own. Apparel Boxes carries the rest of the family.

Clear answers about ordering, artwork, production, materials and delivery.
Orders start from 100 units. That minimum applies per design. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free.
Yes, the minimum is set per design rather than per customer, which is worth knowing before you ask for a quote. It's also why a bridal shop or dry cleaner ordering the same design ahead of several weddings ends up in the same pricing bracket as a single bride, since the run size is what the minimum is actually pricing.
No, and it's better to hear that plainly now. Where the box is kept still makes a real difference. A loft, a garage or anywhere with damp or big temperature swings works against the dress regardless of what it's boxed in, so a stable, dry spot in the house is worth choosing over convenience.
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.
