A false lash is shaped before it is sold. That curl is the product. Press it flat inside a box and you have ruined the lash, even when nothing looks broken. So the tray inside an eyelash box has one main job. It has to hold the lash by its band and leave the curl clear of the lid. Get that wrong and the customer opens a flat lash. Get it right and it looks salon-fresh out of the box.

The tray is the part that matters most. We shape it to cradle the lash band and hold it down, while the curl sits in open space with nothing pressing on it. For a lash kit, the tray holds each pair separately so they do not tangle. It is a small piece of engineering, but it is the difference between a lash that arrives ready to wear and one that needs reshaping.

Eyelash boxes with a window and mirror
Two features earn their place on a lash box. A window lets a customer see the style before they buy, which matters when lashes range from natural to full volume. A mirror set inside the lid turns the box into something a customer keeps and reuses, which puts your brand in their makeup bag long after the sale. Both are optional, and both are worth considering for a retail range.

Our experience with ACP UK was overall good. They were able to work with our extremely tight timeline and were very responsive and communicative. I will say that there were some things about our final product that we were not happy with, such as creasing of the graphics and images were not full bleed on the cover of our boxes like they were supposed to be. ACP UK was not able to fix the problems on the boxes due to our tight timeline, so we ended up with a product that were were a little less than satisfied with. They offered us a discount on our next order. I think their pricing overall was fair and competitive. We may use them on project in the future again if we are able to see an image of the boxes before they go into full production like we were told that they would do last time.

First time working with ACP UK, but surprisingly worked out well. They handled the design and I believe I got the packages under 10 days, both times, as promised. I ordered a prototype first, asked them to make changes, and all was implemented well. I've also worked with another company in parallel, that was much slower. The price here is better as well. How does the box protect the lash curl?
The tray holds the lash by its band and keeps the curl in open space, clear of the lid, so nothing presses it flat in transit.
Can you make boxes for multi-pair lash kits?
Yes. The tray holds each pair separately so lashes do not tangle, which suits kits and PR sets as well as single pairs.
Can I add a window and a mirror?
Yes. A die-cut window shows the lash style, and a mirror inside the lid turns the box into something a customer keeps and reuses.
How fast can you produce eyelash boxes?
6 to 8 business days after you approve a video of your physical sample. Some UK suppliers quote up to 14 business days, so this is worth checking against a launch date.
What is the minimum order?
100 units per design, with the unit price falling as the quantity rises. Free UK delivery is included.
Can a cardboard box still look premium?
Yes. The finish does the work. A matt or soft-touch lamination, spot UV or a touch of foil lifts a cardboard box well beyond the cost of the board.
When should I choose cardboard over rigid?
For everyday ranges, regular-purchase products and anywhere unit cost matters. Rigid suits gift sets, prestige launches and boxes sold on the unboxing.
What products suit a cardboard cosmetic box?
Most of them. Lipsticks, creams, palettes, perfumes and gift sets all work in a folding carton with the right size and insert.
