What a 7-Inch Pizza Box Is For
Seven inches is a personal, single-serve pizza. It is one person’s lunch, a kids’-menu portion, a personal deep pan, or a cookie pizza sent out as a dessert. Because the diameter is already fixed, the question the general range has to work through, what “small” actually means, is answered before you start. If the size is not settled yet, and you are weighing six against seven against nine inches, that is the decision covered under small pizza boxes. Once it is seven, this is the box built to it.
Choosing the Right Box Depth
What a settled diameter does not settle is depth. It is easy to read “seven inch” as “small box, so shallow box,” and that is the assumption to watch. Crust height follows the recipe, not the width, so a deep-pan or heavily loaded seven-inch pizza wants the same headroom as a much wider one; only the footprint is smaller. Tell us the crust style and topping load and the depth is set to match, rather than shrunk to fit the diameter and left pressing toppings against the lid.
Getting the Fit Right
Fit is the other 7-inch detail. A box cut dead on seven inches makes the pizza fiddly to place and lift, so a small clearance is built in: enough that it drops in and comes out cleanly, not so much that it slides around in transit.
Materials, Grease Resistance and Order Details
These boxes hold food directly. Food-contact material suitability is confirmed for the specific material before production. Corrugated is a confirmed pizza construction, with paperboard and kraft available too. For oil resistance a clay-coated face helps, though no board is fully greaseproof. Orders start from 100 units. Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free. There are no setup fees. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free.

The first iterations the boxes were sized wrong, but once we got it figured out and I got the art I requested some samples before moving forward. They printed off some samples, and they were great minus a slight adjustment to the perforation. They made the adjustment and got the final order out and so far I am pleased with the quality, especially for the price. The only thing that would have bumped this up to a 5 star review would have been a little bit quicker overall experience, part of which was my fault.

What is the minimum order for 7 Inch Pizza Boxes?
Orders start from 100 units. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free.
Is 7 inches measured across the pizza or the box?
It is the pizza's diameter. The box is built a little larger than that so a 7 inch pizza sits in it with a small working clearance, rather than wedged in exactly to size.
Can I use 7 inch boxes for sides or desserts, not just pizza?
Yes. The personal footprint suits garlic bread, cookies, brownies and other small portions as readily as a personal pizza. What changes between them is the height inside, so tell us what is going in and the box can be built for the tallest item rather than for a flat pizza alone.
Are 7 Inch Pizza Boxes recyclable?
An unlaminated paperboard or corrugated construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Any grease-resistant coating pulls against that, because the coating is the extra layer to process. What happens in practice comes down to the exact spec you choose and the recycling available where the box ends up.
Can I order 7 inch boxes plain as well as printed?
Yes. The 100-unit minimum is the same for both, and it counts per design, not across a mix of designs.
