“Small” isn’t one agreed number. One well-known pizza-box supplier’s own listing calls 6 to 8 inches “small” twice, then gives 7 inches its own separate section headed “Perfect Personal Size.” The relationship between the two claims is never explained. That’s fine for browsing, but it’s not something a production run can be built against.
What “small” actually covers, and why it’s worth pinning down
Personal and individual pizza sizing tends to sit somewhere in the 6 to 9 inch range as a general market pattern, not a fixed ACP figure. This is a custom order, not a pick-from-a-list stock item. So the practical fix is simple: give us the actual diameter your pizza needs, and that figure is what gets built, rather than a word that means something slightly different everywhere it’s used.
Depth doesn’t shrink just because the diameter does
A personal-sized pizza’s crust and topping sit at roughly the same height as a much larger one, since that height comes from the recipe, not the diameter. Assuming a smaller box automatically means a shallower box can leave toppings pressed against the lid once it’s filled. Confirming depth alongside diameter, rather than letting one imply the other, is what actually avoids that.
Corrugated construction is a confirmed pizza-specific option, and paperboard, kraft and rigid stock are all available generally too. Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method. Gloss, matte or spot UV finishes can be applied. Where oil transfer during handling and transport is a concern, a clay-coated face is worth specifying, though nothing turns a board into a guaranteed grease barrier.

Our experience with ACP UK was overall good. They were able to work with our extremely tight timeline and were very responsive and communicative. I will say that there were some things about our final product that we were not happy with, such as creasing of the graphics and images were not full bleed on the cover of our boxes like they were supposed to be. ACP UK was not able to fix the problems on the boxes due to our tight timeline, so we ended up with a product that were were a little less than satisfied with. They offered us a discount on our next order. I think their pricing overall was fair and competitive. We may use them on project in the future again if we are able to see an image of the boxes before they go into full production like we were told that they would do last time.

What is the minimum order for Small Pizza Boxes?
Orders start from 100 units. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free.
I don't have an exact diameter in mind yet. How do I work one out?
Measure the pizza itself, or the pan or cutter it's made against, straight across the widest point, rather than estimating by eye. If the recipe varies slightly batch to batch, round up to the largest realistic size rather than the average, since a box that's a little roomy costs less in practice than one that's consistently too tight.
What if I'm not sure how deep to go either?
Tell us the crust style, thin, deep pan or stuffed, along with the topping load you're working with, and a starting depth can be suggested from that rather than left to guesswork. It's easier to confirm on a mock-up than to discover it's wrong after production.
Are these boxes recyclable?
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Adding a grease-resistant coating shifts that balance in the laminated direction, since the coating itself is the added complication. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.
