Kraft is an unbleached, part-recycled natural fibre, so its own brown is not one fixed colour. Reorder Kraft Product Boxes months later and the board's shade can drift, not just the print. Orders start from 100 units.
Kraft’s appeal is that it looks natural, and the reason it looks natural is that it is barely processed: unbleached fibre, usually with recycled content. That same honesty has a practical edge the usual eco-focused kraft copy skips. A bleached white board is manufactured to a fixed colour; a natural kraft board is not, so its brown carries the normal variation of a recycled natural material.
Order kraft product boxes today and reorder the same spec in six months, and the second batch can come back a slightly different brown, before a drop of ink is added. This is not a fault; it is what an unbleached, part-recycled board does, and it is the one thing a brand standardising on kraft needs to plan for. There are three honest ways to handle it. Approve the first run against a physical sample and accept that later runs sit within a normal tolerance of it. Treat the shade variation as part of the natural look you chose kraft for. Or, where the seen face has to stay consistent, move the printed side to a clay-coated kraft so the drift is confined to the reverse.
That clay-coated route pairs a smooth printable face with the natural kraft kept on the reverse. It is worth choosing deliberately rather than by default, and the full board-choice and colour side of it is set out on our kraft food boxes page rather than repeated here. How much ink to lay on a raw kraft board, and how colour behaves on brown, are their own decision, covered on our custom printed kraft page. Offset, digital and screen printing are all available either way. Pantone references and CMYK values can be used to manage colour consistency, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method.
Orders start from 100 units. Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free. There are no setup fees. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free.
If the question is how much of a kraft board to cover in ink, or how to get accurate colour on brown, Custom Printed Kraft Boxes covers that print decision. To weigh up going kraft at all and see the whole kraft range, Kraft Boxes is the place to start. To compare kraft against the other product-box options, see Custom Product Boxes.

The print is managed to your references, but the natural kraft board's own brown can vary slightly run to run, since it is an unbleached, part-recycled material rather than a fixed manufactured colour. Approving against a physical sample and agreeing a tolerance up front is the usual way to handle it, or the printed face can be moved to a clay-coated kraft to keep it consistent.
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Kraft is often chosen for its recyclability, but the honest position is a qualified one rather than a blanket claim. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.
