Two ready-to-go options, and how to pick between them
Genuinely blank stock suits a business that already has its own way of adding a mark afterward, a sticker, a stamp or a printed label applied once the boxes arrive, and wants nothing on the board itself until then. A pre-made, ready-to-ship design suits the opposite instinct: something presentable straight out of the box, without setting up a labelling step of your own, but without a bespoke print run either. Neither carries different commercial terms from a custom order, and neither has a fixed size or price published in advance; both get confirmed once we know what you’re ordering.
Where a full custom order still makes sense

The food sits in direct contact with the board in most of these formats once filled. Food-contact material suitability is confirmed for the specific material before production.

An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.

All Custom Packaging UK is very thorough with multiple design confirmations before production to ensure your finished product is just how you want it to be. Lots of pictures and videos of our product were sent to us before it arrived too! All Custom Packaging UK has flexible shipping options that allowed us to receive our good-quality boxes before a deadline and made the process less stressful.

Thomas was helpful and knowledgeable and very accommodating in changing design details, always responding quickly with a new version to review. Thomas is very eager to help make sure your packaging is right for you. Sometimes a little too eager chasing for decisions but at least you know someone is handling your enquiry and its not sitting on the bottom of a pile being ignored as I've had experience of elsewhere.

First time working with ACP UK, but surprisingly worked out well. They handled the design and I believe I got the packages under 10 days, both times, as promised. I ordered a prototype first, asked them to make changes, and all was implemented well. I've also worked with another company in parallel, that was much slower. The price here is better as well. I don't know where the team operates from but they are doing excellent job!

Is genuinely blank, unprinted stock actually available, or is that just marketing language?
It's genuinely available, on the same terms as a custom order, across the food-box range. Size and any price difference get settled once we know the order, not fixed in advance.
How do I know whether to pick blank stock or a pre-made design?
Blank suits a business already adding its own label or stamp afterward. A pre-made design suits wanting something presentable without setting up that separate step yourself, without going as far as a bespoke print run either.
Does "empty" just mean the box arrives without food in it?
That's a separate, valid reading. Every ACP food box ships without food inside by default, whichever of the three routes applies.
Do blank or pre-made orders have a different minimum or lead time than custom?
No difference. The 100-unit minimum and the 6-to-8-business-day production time hold regardless of which of the three you choose.
