A brownie box has to answer a question most food boxes don’t: is it carrying one uncut slab, a few generous bars, or a tray of small, individual pieces meant to be shared out. That decision shapes the box more than the material does, and it’s worth settling before anything else.
One slab, or several pieces
A single, uncut slab needs a snug footprint close to the tray it came out of. Several bars or bites sitting together need either a looser fit that lets them move as a group, or a divided interior that keeps them apart. ACP’s confirmed die-cut insert capability, in card, paperboard or foam, holds product position and stops movement inside the box, which is exactly what a mixed or shared brownie box needs if the pieces shouldn’t touch or slide during transit. Tell us roughly how many pieces and whether they need separating, and the box gets built around that rather than a generic default.
Genuinely blank, or a pre-made design, or your own custom print
A brownie order doesn’t have to start with artwork. Genuinely blank, unprinted stock is a real option, and so is a pre-made design already prepared for you, if you’d rather skip the design step without going fully unbranded either. Pricing and exact sizing for both wait until an actual order is in front of us, since neither is a published figure yet. A gift order or a retail line carrying your own logo is where the fully custom route earns its place instead, artwork and all, from the first production step.
Every brownie touches the board directly once it’s packed in, whatever route gets chosen. Food-contact material suitability is confirmed for the specific material before production. A specific moisture or freshness coating isn’t a standing ACP specification: some suppliers name their own process for this, but it isn’t something to assume is included by default. Raise it directly at quote stage if it matters for how the brownies travel.
Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free. It’s useful here specifically for checking a slab or multi-piece layout against the actual box before committing. Neither depends on which of the three routes you take. Orders start from 100 units. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free. There are no setup fees.
An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.

The first iterations the boxes were sized wrong, but once we got it figured out and I got the art I requested some samples before moving forward. They made the adjustment and got the final order out and so far I am pleased with the quality, especially for the price. Additionally, there was a major delay on my end and Daniel was very patient, even though the project was one hold for a few months. Is genuinely blank stock actually available for brownie boxes?
Yes, at the same 100-unit floor as a custom order. There's no published size or price for it yet, so that part waits for an actual quote.
Do I need dividers if I'm packing more than one piece?
Depends on the pieces and how they're travelling. A die-cut insert can keep individual bars or bites apart if they shouldn't touch or shift in transit. Send over the piece count and we'll size the interior around it.
Will the box protect against moisture, or is that something I need to specify?
It's a genuine quote-stage question, not a standard specification. If freshness or moisture protection over a delivery matters, flag it directly rather than assuming it's included.
I don't have artwork ready. Can I still get a branded-looking box?
Yes. The pre-made design route exists for exactly this: something that looks finished without you having to prepare a print file, and without settling for genuinely plain stock either.
What is the minimum order for empty brownie boxes?
Orders start from 100 units. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free.
