A table tent earns its place by standing up and staying legible through a full service, not by how it looks in a design file. Two things actually decide that: whether the fold holds its shape, and what the surface does the first time someone wipes the table.
Surviving what actually happens on a table
A table gets wiped down between covers, and drinks sit close enough to splash. A laminated or coated finish gives the surface something to resist that with, so dust, fingerprints and a light spill wipe off rather than soaking in. That reduces the risk of real damage; it does not make the card immune to a genuine spill left sitting, and a heavily soaked card will still suffer regardless of the finish.
Standing up without help
The fold has to hold its own weight without leaning or collapsing, which comes down to the card weight chosen and how the crease itself is scored. A card that is too light for its fold height will sag; one scored badly will not sit flat. A slim two-panel tent for a coffee-shop counter and a taller three-panel tent built to flag a table special carry very different weight needs. Tell us roughly how tall you want it to stand and where it is going, and we can talk through a fold and weight that holds up.
A wall-mounted menu board or a poster is a different job entirely. A table tent is built to stand free on a flat surface, so it will not serve well as either.
A QR code or a specials card, printed properly
Reorder links, review prompts and menu QR codes are often the actual reason a table tent gets ordered, and a code that will not scan is worse than no code at all. Size and contrast are worth checking at proof stage before the full run goes to print. Colour can be managed in CMYK or against Pantone references, subject to normal variation caused by the chosen board, ink, coating and production method.
Getting one made
Orders start from 100 units. Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free, letting you check how the fold, finish and any QR code look before anything is printed. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free. There are no setup fees. Recyclability depends on the finish and lamination chosen; an uncoated or lightly coated card may be easier to process through standard paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated one, and your local facility ultimately decides what it accepts.

Will the table tent survive being wiped down?
A laminated or coated finish resists light spills, dust and fingerprints and wipes clean more easily than an uncoated card. It lowers the risk of damage. It does not remove that risk entirely, and a genuine spill left sitting will still get through.
Can I write on it, like a specials board?
That depends on the finish. A coated surface is harder to write on reliably with a standard pen; if you need it writable, tell us and we can talk through whether that changes the finish you want.
What is the minimum order for table tents?
Orders start from 100 units. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free.
Will it stand up on its own?
Yes, when the card weight and fold are matched to the height you want. Tell us roughly how tall and where it will sit, and we size the fold and weight to hold up.
Can both sides be printed?
Yes, a two-panel or three-panel format can carry different artwork on each visible face.
