A round tin, a window or a specially-detailed insert isn’t what most macaron orders actually need. A straightforward box, sized to the right count, in your own branding, usually is. This page covers that standard case, and points you toward one of ACP’s more specific macaron pages if yours is genuinely one of those.
How many macarons, and what shape order
Get this right first, because it decides more than anything else about the box. A single-recipient gift box might only need a few macarons; a table-sharing selection for an event can run to two or three dozen. That difference changes the footprint and how many rows the layout needs, not just the total count. Seasonal or event runs, several boxes made at once for the same occasion, are a different brief again, usually about consistency across the run rather than any one box’s size. Tell us roughly how many macarons per box and how many boxes in total, and the size gets specified around that rather than guessed at.
The standard construction
A tuck-end or auto-lock tray is the usual format here, the same base every one of ACP’s other macaron pages assumes before adding their own specific feature. A basic cavity insert, enough to stop macarons sliding around loose, comes as standard on most specifications; if the insert material or a mixed-flavour layout is genuinely the deciding factor for your order, Macaron Boxes With Inserts goes into that in far more depth than this page needs to.
When a different page fits better

What’s confirmed before it touches a macaron
Board and coating can be selected to suit direct or indirect food contact depending on the specification. Food-contact material suitability is confirmed for the specific material before production. Allergen and nutritional labelling stays your business’s responsibility.
Getting the specification right
Orders start from 100 units. Design support is free. That covers fitting your artwork to the box dimensions once the size is settled. A digital 3D mock-up is free. Seeing the finished size and print together at that stage is the easiest way to catch a mismatch early. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free. There are no setup fees. An unlaminated paperboard construction may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Final recyclability depends on the full material and finishing specification and the facilities available locally.

The first iterations the boxes were sized wrong, but once we got it figured out and I got the art I requested some samples before moving forward. How many macarons should go in one box?
There's no fixed number; it depends on the occasion. A single gift box usually holds far fewer than a sharing selection made for an event. Give us a rough count per box and how many boxes you need, and the layout gets sized to fit.
What shapes are available?
The standard shape here is rectangular or square. A round, two-piece construction is covered separately on Round Macaron Boxes if that's what you're after instead.
Can I see the macarons through the box before it's opened?

Does the box include a divider to keep macarons apart?
