Custom white takeaway boxes built to resist grease and hold up to hot, sauced or oily food, printed to your brand on coated white board. Orders start from 100 units, with free design support and a free digital 3D mock-up before production.
A white box shows every mark. Grease from a curry, oil from fried food, or steam from something hot all leave a trace on plain white board faster than they would on a darker stock, so what the board is coated with matters more here than the colour itself. Single-compartment cartons suit one dish on its own; a multi-compartment layout keeps a main and a side apart, which matters for anything where sauce or grease from one item would otherwise spread into the other.
It is the coating on the printing face that resists grease, not the white colour itself, and that coating protects the surface the food touches as well as the printed outside. Confirming what that coating actually is matters more than assuming any white board handles oily food the same way. Where food is genuinely wet or saucy, and not just greasy, a heavier board or a liner adds a second layer of protection the coating alone does not provide.
Trapped steam is what turns crispy food soft, and a fully sealed box has nowhere for that steam to go. Die-cut vents let it escape, cut only where the specification calls for them so the box keeps its strength. They matter more for fried or battered food than for something already wet, like a curry or a saucy dish, where the moisture problem comes from the food itself, not from steam.
Board and coating can be selected to suit direct or indirect food contact depending on the specification. Food-contact material suitability is confirmed for the specific material before production. Allergen and nutritional labelling stays your business’s responsibility.
This carton resists grease and manages steam for the length of a normal service or short delivery. It does not insulate, and it will not keep hot food hot over a genuine delivery distance the way a proper insulated bag or container does. It also cannot guarantee zero leakage regardless of how the food is packed inside it. Where a real hot-holding or leak-critical need exists, pair this box with the right insulated or lined carrier instead of expecting the box alone to do that job.
Design support is free. A digital 3D mock-up is free before bulk production, so you can check vent placement and coating against your actual menu before committing to a run. Standard production takes 6 to 8 business days after approval. UK delivery is free. There are no setup fees.
An unlaminated or lightly coated board may be easier to process through suitable paper-recycling streams than a heavily laminated alternative. Grease-marked board can be harder for some facilities to accept, so a box that has been in direct contact with oily food may need to go into general waste rather than paper recycling, depending on your local facility. We can talk you through the considerations for your specification.

Real feedback from customers who trust us with their custom packaging.
Clear answers about ordering, artwork, production, materials and delivery.
It can, depending on the coating. A coated printing face resists grease better on the surface the food touches, and that coating matters more than the white colour itself. Tell us what you typically pack and we will suggest a suitable coating.
No, not on its own. This box manages steam and grease for a normal service or short delivery, but it does not insulate over a real distance. For genuine hot-holding, pair it with an insulated carrier.
For fried or battered food, yes. Steam has nowhere to go in a sealed box, and that trapped steam is what softens anything crispy. Vents are cut into the lid only where the specification calls for them, so box strength is not affected.
No box can guarantee that regardless of how it is packed. A heavier board or a liner adds real protection for wetter food, and telling us what you are packing helps us suggest the right combination.
